Local PR Firm Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Anderson & Associates, a local public relations and marketing communications firm, marks 20 years in business in October, according to President Laurie W. Anderson.
Anderson started her firm in 1989. She then partnered with Fred Hobbs from 1994 to 1999 when he retired. During this time, the firm was known as Public Relations Associates. In 2004, Anderson joined forces with Jim Varner/Edit Bay Communications to add web development and Internet marketing capabilities to the firm. Anderson & Associates also is a member of The PR Collective, a national network of PR firms (www.theprcollective.com).
"Although the make-up of our staff and capabilities continues to change with the times, our focus is still offering public relations and marketing communications programs that deliver results," explains Anderson. "Public relations and Internet marketing are the two of the most cost effective promotional tools that businesses can use-during any economic time. We work with clients in a wide variety of industries but have special expertise in working with small to medium size businesses, nonprofit clients and the growing green/natural industry."
Since 1989, Anderson & Associates has received awards from the Public Relations Society of America, the Denver Advertising Federation, Colorado Healthcare Communicators and the American Marketing Association. Anderson also received the Woman of the Year Award from the DTC Chapter of the Business Professional Women's Network (BPW).
Anderson is an active member of DTC BPW, Zonta Club of DouglasCounty and the BNI (Business Network International) Connections of Lone Tree. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame, and previously served on the Board for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the American Heart Association.

Edit Bay Communications offers Web Hosting to clients
Edit Bay Communications announced today that it will work with Enterhost Inc. to host their dedicated servers in the company's data center located in Ft. Worth Texas. Enterhost provides top quality services including ColdFusion Server and SQL database server.
Over $8 million dollars was invested in building out the 20,000 square foot dedicated server hosting facility. The data center is engineered with fully redundant electrical, mechanical and network infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of availability.
This collaboration allows us to offer a fully scalable solution to Edit Bay clients. In addition, the colaboration gives us access to a variety of advanced technical support services.
