Keller Williams North Agents Collect 1850 Pounds of Food
WESTMINSTER, CO—June 10, 2009—More than 150 agents at the Denver North Market Center of Keller Williams Realty were among the thousands of agents in the U.S. and Canada who participated in the recent Keller Williams RED (Renew, Energize and Donate) Day. The one-day community service initiative held May 14 was the largest in the history of the real estate industry.
Agents from the Denver North office at 11859 Pecos St. and their clients collected more than 1850 pounds of food that was donated to the Food Bank of the Rockies.
“The driver from the Food Bank of the Rockies said that groups usually donate about one barrel of food for every 100 employees,” says Rumaldo Ulibarri, one of the agents who helped organize the event. “However, we had more than 14 barrels of food. Because of the success of this event, we are planning a ‘Back to School’ drive for supplies this fall.”
The Keller Williams RED day was dedicated to Keller Williams Realty International vice Chair Mo Anderson for her dedication and commitment to the company’s culture and tireless support of her community. Each office planned and implemented its own activity for the day to demonstrate the importance of making a difference in its local community.
